When servicing the 5.9L Cummins, removing the intake horn leaves the intake path exposed. With tools and hardware being handled directly above the engine, dropped bolts, nuts, tools, dirt, and other debris can easily fall inside.
This Intake Manifold Port Cover is designed to securely cover the exposed opening while you work, helping prevent hardware and debris from entering the intake in the first place. It provides a clean, reusable alternative to stuffing the opening with shop rags or trying to cover it with tape.
The cover secures using the intake horn mounting bolt holes and is designed to be installed either directly on top of the grid heater block or directly on the intake opening when the grid heater has been removed. This allows the intake to remain protected throughout different stages of service.
Made from semi-flexible TPU, the cover is durable, oil resistant, and well suited for repeated use in a shop environment.
Installation Note: The locating posts are intentionally designed for a snug fit in the mounting bolt holes. When new, they may require additional effort to install. The TPU will break in slightly after the first few uses, making installation and removal easier while maintaining a secure fit.
Designed for Cummins applications using the single-port intake opening.
Made in the USA using a high-quality 3D printing process for a precise fit and dependable performance.
