When servicing the 6.7L Cummins, removing the intake horn exposes the intake opening beneath it. With tools and hardware being handled directly above the engine, dropped bolts, nuts, tools, dirt, and other debris can easily fall inside.
This Intake Manifold Port Cover is designed to securely cover the exposed opening while you work, helping prevent hardware and debris from entering the intake in the first place. It provides a clean, reusable alternative to stuffing the opening with shop rags or trying to cover it with tape.
Because the grid heater occupies the intake opening, the cover is designed to secure using the intake horn mounting bolt holes rather than pressing into the port itself. The locating posts provide a secure fit while the cover completely shields the exposed intake opening.
Made from semi-flexible TPU, the cover is durable, oil resistant, and well suited for repeated use in a shop environment.
Installation Note: The locating posts are intentionally designed for a snug fit in the mounting bolt holes. When new, they may require additional effort to install. The TPU will break in slightly after the first few uses, making installation and removal easier while maintaining a secure fit.
Designed for Cummins applications using the dual-port intake opening.
Made in the USA using a high-quality 3D printing process for a precise fit and dependable performance.
